Who Cares? – Anyone who wants to the name of the song they hear on the radio, and can’t remember a song name but can hum the tune. Why download it? – To be able to identify song titles and artist names by simply humming a tune or singing the chorus. Is it user friendly? – It is probably the easiest and most user friendly app I have ever encountered. For those of you who aren’t unfamiliar with sound recognition technology it works as it sounds. There are a few apps on the markets that allow for users to identify the song playing on the radio, but SoundHound allows for unlimited identifications as well as being the only current app with singing and humming identification for free. Once you have downloaded and opened SoundHound you can get started immediately. If you have a song playing or you think you can sing the song well enough to identify, you can hit the big Tap Here button and let the music play. If you don’t have the song playing that you are thinking of but you know the song name or artist name you can hit the black button with a microphone symbol inside and say the title. Somehow this amazing technology recognizes any version of what I mentioned and gave me what I’m looking for. (PAUSE) As you can see here I am not the best singer but SoundHound is good enough to understand what I am singing. There is the option of typing in the title but it is so much more fun to say or sing what you are looking for. I try to give positive reviews about apps I actually use and like, but SoundHound is, in my opinion, the very best free app on any OS and may be the best non-game app there is due to its outstanding technology. Everyone loves to listen to music and this app will literally change the way you do. I encourage everyone to download SoundHound and take advantage of an amazing free app.
