For anyone who travels and is familiar with Marriott Hotels there is now an app that makes your life much easier. This great travel app is available on iPhone, Android and Blackberry. The Marriott International app gives you instant access to over 3,600 hotels in over 70 countries, and whether it’s business or pleasure you can earn Marriott rewards points. Once you have downloaded and opened the free Marriott International app you can immediately being searching for hotels. If you hit the “Find and reserve a hotel” button you can begin making a reservation the same way you would online by searching for a city or the airport you are flying into. You can also use your location, using a GPS finder, to search for hotels nearest your current location. Once you have chosen a city you can browse through pictures or each hotel and see prices based on how many nights you have chosen to stay. If you are already a Marriott Rewards member you can enter your number and earn points seamlessly on the app. After you know which hotel you are staying in and your reservation is completed you can click on the “more options” button on the home screen and then “city guides” will allow you to search for restaurants, shopping, night life, and much more which can be very helpful if you have some free time on a business trip. Marriott International is great travel app with everything you will ever need to find hotels almost anywhere you will ever go. I personally really like the options to pick a room near the elevator, or to request feather pillows, along with other special requests many people like to ask for. The app makes staying away from home easy as possible and if you travel I definitely suggest you use it to earn rewards.
