Our review

Deflection is unique Android app with great game play and interaction. The techy “Tron” like graphics make Deflection perfectly designed for the “high-tech” pong game that it is. Deflection is a perfect example of why I love the arcade style game apps and how far Android developers have grown in design and game play. Once you have downloaded and opened Deflection you can begin playing normal and push modes currently. Normal mode is going through each level until you have forced the ball past the computer or the ball has passed you enough times. Also in normal you get power ups after each level which actually affect you just as much as the computer. Push mode is my favorite and the most challenging. The level of difficulty rises each time you get the ball past computer, but if the ball gets by you then you get pushed back to the previous level. Another challenge in push mode is that you can only allow the ball to pass you a certain numbers of times before the game is over. When you are finished you will see which level you made it to and which level you finished on. I have been told by the developers that multiplayer mode is nearing its completion and will be a major improvement to an already great game. Deflection is one of my favorites and I have probably spent too much time playing it when I need to write other app reviews. The only downside I can think of is the fact that the power ups can hurt you, but I look at it as another challenge making Deflection a better game to play. Because of the great game play and awesome design and color scheme I am giving Deflection 4.5 of 5 stars which may improve when the multiplayer update is released so check back soon for an updated review.
