Who Cares? – Home cooks and people who want to try new things at home. Why download it? – To be able to find thousands of recipes that millions of love. Is it user friendly? – It is very easy to use and find new recipes. It is also easy to use the spinning tool to be shown new recipes you weren’t even looking at. For those of you who are familiar with Allrecipes.com you know the quality of recipes and reviews written by users. For those of you who are not familiar, AllRecipes is the number one food website with millions of home cook users. All of these home cooks’ favorite meals are available on the AllRecipes app. Once you have downloaded and opened the app you will be able to immediately begin picking which type of recipe you want. There are three horizontal rows that rotate pieces of your recipe. The top section is dish type, the middle is ingredients, and the bottom is how long it takes to prepare. You can lock any of the sections and shake the phone to be given random selections or you can scroll through and pick all three that you want. For instance if you are looking for a breakfast recipe with fruit and you want it to be ready in 20 minutes or less you can choose those three sections and then view all matches. There are good reviews written by other users, and you can pick and choose from what looks good to you. You can favorite some meals that you want to come back to later, and you can also look through the featured section to see the special meals that have recently been added. There are many recipe apps out there but AllRecipes comes from the largest food website and brings one of the largest collections of recipes to your phone. The only downside I see is that it is only available on the iPhone, but since it is free I would suggest everyone download it.
