Who cares? – Anyone who uses their phone enough to worry about battery life, so people who want a longer battery life. Is it user friendly? – Advanced Task killer is very easy to use and manage all of your running applications. Why download it? – Very simply put; to have a longer battery life. As you can imagine I use my Android a lot more often than most people, so I definitely need a task manager. Some people may not use their Android that often but most people are probably not aware of how many apps are automatically running just by turning their phone on. It sounds intimidating if you are not familiar with Androids but it is actually very simple to manage all of your running applications. Once you have downloaded and opened Advanced Task Killer you can begin immediately selecting apps that you don’t use that often and turn them off. If you press and hold any app on the main menu you will be shown a list of* options which is where you can choose to ignore an app. In settings you can set Advanced Task Killer to auto kill selected apps at a certain frequency which will enable a longer battery life all day. My favorite feature of Advanced Task Killer is how it notifies you of how much more memory is available after you kill apps. If you know what you are doing it will also take you straight to your settings and allow you to manually control your running apps. This is one of the most downloaded Android apps of all time and I would definitely suggest downloading the free version to start saving battery life.
